1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RatingsNavigator ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RatingsNavigator is a review request automation platform that enables local businesses to send SMS messages to their customers requesting Google reviews. The Service includes a web dashboard, SMS automation, and related tools.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to bind your business to these Terms. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account

RatingsNavigator Review Requests

Program Description

RatingsNavigator sends SMS messages to end-user customers on behalf of local service businesses. Messages contain a short, personalized review request with a direct link to the business's Google review page. The purpose of each message is to request honest feedback about a recent service experience.

Message Frequency

Customers typically receive 1–2 messages per service interaction: an initial review request and potentially one follow-up. Messages are only sent in connection with an actual visit or service. Customers will not receive recurring or ongoing marketing messages.

Message & Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply. RatingsNavigator does not charge end-user customers for messages, but carrier rates from your mobile provider may apply.

Opt-Out Instructions

Customers who receive text messages through RatingsNavigator can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We also honor the following keywords: UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT, and OPT OUT. Upon opting out:

  • The customer will receive a confirmation that they have been unsubscribed
  • No further messages will be sent to that customer from that business
  • The opt-out is permanent unless the customer explicitly re-consents

Customers may also opt out by contacting us at support@ratingsnavigator.com with their phone number and the business name.

6. Acceptable Use — SMS Messaging

By using RatingsNavigator to send SMS messages, you agree to:

  • Obtain consent: Only submit phone numbers of customers who have a legitimate business relationship with you and have consented to receive communications
  • Follow applicable laws: Comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations regarding SMS messaging
  • Honor opt-outs: Respect all opt-out requests immediately. RatingsNavigator automatically processes STOP requests, but you must not attempt to circumvent opt-outs
  • No spam: Not use the Service to send unsolicited messages to individuals who have not done business with you
  • No fake reviews: Not use the Service to generate fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews that violate Google's policies

7. Subscription & Billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe
  • Free trials last 14 days with full access to all features
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Send messages to individuals without proper consent
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service
  • Impersonate another person or business
  • Transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by RatingsNavigator and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your business data and customer information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RatingsNavigator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost reviews, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that SMS messages will be delivered successfully (delivery depends on third-party carriers and Twilio).

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive messaging practices, or fail to pay subscription fees. You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and contacting us.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the dashboard. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
